Only a sadist would look forward to getting a wisdom tooth extracted. I had suffered with extreme pain for days and was so relieved when Blue Ridge Oral & Facial contacted me two days BEFORE my appointment. They said they had an opening and I was welcome to come in early. What a relief! From the moment I stepped inside the facility, everyone was so friendly, efficient, and helpful. I was blessed to have Dr. Raj Guraya and his assistant Sam as my surgical team. The Dr. carefully explained everything he was going to do and made sure I knew he would stop the moment I signaled I was feeling pain. With him and his skilled assistant Sam, everything was explained and there were no surprises. It is no exaggeration to say that the procedure, while not being a walk in the park, was NOT painful. Was it a miracle, or Divine intervention? Maybe, but I tend to think that I was simply the recipient of the services of a very skillful and professional team who are very, very good at what they do. There was pressure, there was twisting and pulling, but let's not forget the objective here. We are pulling up a wisdom tooth that has been very snugly rooted in the back of my mouth for over 40 years! Dr. Gureya and his fantastic assistant Sam, were so professional, so comforting, and so efficient, the offending tooth was out before I knew it.
